Who We Are

Our website address is: The Njjuba Project is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organizations that supports children who are trapped in poverty and illiteracy in Uganda. Without support from the Njjuba Project, children in the Mpigi and Bwindi communities would be at great risk of malnutrition, dropping out of school, becoming involved in illegal activities, being targeted for human trafficking, child marriage, and child pregnancy.


When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string for spam detection purposes.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After comment approval, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.


If you upload images to our website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from website images.

How Long We Retain Your Data

For comments, we retain both the comment and its metadata indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

For registered users, we store personal information provided in user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information (except for usernames). Website administrators can also access and edit this information.

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data held by us, including any data you’ve provided. You may also request erasure of your personal data, excluding data we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may undergo automated spam detection. We also utilize standard Analytics tracking software to make improvements to our website and help our team create a better user experience.
